Victorias City - Leading presidential candidate Sen. Grace Poe once again wooed Negrenses to vote for “a young Ilongga” in obvious reference to her.
Poe and her running mate Senator Chiz Escudero arrived in the province early yesterday.
“I am very thankful for the reception am getting here. Mga kababayan ng mom ko yan as many told her that they are my mom’s relatives and that they went to La Consolacion College,” she said.
Poe’s adoptive mother, actress Susan Roces hails from Bacolod City and studied at LCC.
