Three persons were arrested in various parts of Negros Occidental during the Philippine National Police (PNP) conduct of checkpoint resulting to several firearms and ammunitions confiscated over the weekend.
In Victorias City, PSupt. Santiago Y. Rapiz, police chief with Regional Public Safety Battalion 6 led by PSInsp. Gil John Despi arrested Ariel Belaong about 10PM, Saturday along Roxas St., Brgy. 5.
