The supposedly rape case filed against “Tawag ng Tanghalan” champion Noven Belleza of Victorias City was downgraded by the Cebu prosecutor to sexual assault.
This, after the fiscal assessed the circumstances, thereby allowing the farmer- turned-champion to post bail and be temporarily set free.
Despite his ordeal, Belleza continues to get a growing support from his fans and followers, especially after his father’s statement that the young singer “is not guilty” as he “is not like that as a person.”
